Ashley Ink and Paperie is a company rooted in faith, promoting people to remember the sweet moments of everyday life.
Ashley Steiner created Ashley Ink and Paperie in 2013 when she was sophomore in highschool. Ashley has always loved drawing and creating new designs. The idea for her company started when she made birthday cards for her friends, which her mom suggested she copy and turn into greeting cards.
Ashley Ink and Paperie is a company rooted in faith, promoting people to remember the sweet moments of everyday life. The four year old company makes beautiful stationery to spread kindness and encouragement to those who receive her items. Ashley believes that handwritten notes are special in ways e-mail and text message are not. It is a personal experience, just like creating the designs on her products.
Ashley’s mother has been her biggest fan, and is her hero. She spurred Ashley on to create her business and even works for her company, making her even more of a hero to her daughter. “There’s no way I would be where I am today without her. She constantly gives and never asks for recognition,” Ashley said.
Ashley’s mother has also taught her that Southern culture is community—a place full of heart, heritage, and soul. Every person in your community is a part of it and is a building block. Each of those community building blocks are the building blocks of her company, reminding Ashley everyday of why she loves what she does so much. And that’s what Grit means to her—boldness, confidence, and perseverance in every challenge she faces.
Ashley Ink and Paperie supports breast cancer awareness and education through donations with Zeta Tau Alpha’s philanthropy.
